Ten of Shakespeare’s heroines get a chance to re-evaluate their lives and deaths in their own voices, unhindered by the male quill.
This CTW production is partnering with The Chelmsford Festival and being performed in the fully accessible Meadows Shopping Centre. Brand new territory for us and hopefully the beginning of a closer collaboration with the Chelmsford Arts community. Genuinely exciting stuff!

This fabulously feminist play gives ten of Shakespeare’s heroines a chance to tell their own stories unhindered by the male quill and they don’t hold back. These (mostly) motherless women have much to share, are we prepared to hear it? Funny, harrowing, coerced, determined and dead but by whose hand? And why does it matter?
