Our May / June production is a collaboration between Chelmsford Theatre Workshop and The Chelmsford Drama Centre – we are incredibly proud to and very excited to announce this.

We will once again be working with The Chelmsford Drama Centre to create an amazing ORIGINAL play – all the main roles will be played by members of The Chelmsford Drama Centre.

About

Midnight on Dia de los Muertos is fast approaching, but Santiago wants nothing more than to continue playing outside with his best friend Juan, who can’t go home yet. Together they could achieve anything, whether it’s becoming the next Luche Libre star or just building den in the garden. As the night closes in, the friends see the city come alive in celebration, the way home becomes clear.

Casa de las Flores explores the extraordinary power of an ordinary childhood friendship, and that the Day of the Dead is a celebration to connect with lost loved ones through joyful remembrance.
