Chelmsford Theatre Workshop
Our second play of the Season is a theatrical debut written by one of our own members, John Mabey.
Mandy and John have come to the end of their relationship. Their lives are now being separated in to boxes. A chance discovery of their old records reveals a secret that Mandy has kept for over 30 years. This heartfelt comedy drama delves in to the realms of break ups, affairs, and gives a small glimpse in to the lives of people in their 20s in the 1980’s.
This small love letter to vinyl will certainly give people of a certain generation a trip down memory lane. John, who will also be directing the play had this to say. “It’s been a while from pen to paper, now it’s time for paper to stage.”
