The classic tale of love and magic is brought to life by CTW.
Hermia runs away from home, angry that her parents are trying to marry her to Demetrius – a man she doesn’t even like, let alone love. The charming Lysander has her heart and the two lovers plan to escape into the forest.
However, the couple and their friends are unknowingly caught between the feuding Fairy King and Queen. At the same time, a group of locals is in the forest rehearsing a play up until some fairy magic risks ruining everything.
“The course of true love did never run smooth…”
Director – Clare Woodward
