Readthrough: Rhinosceros

“Hi all. Some of you will not know me too well other than Iain’s partner so as a brief intro, I’m Steve Holding-Sutton and I was a very active member here from 1993 -2010 in particular. I was Artistic Director 2005 – 2010.

Involvement has been difficult last few years due to jobs but hoping to direct, with committee approval, the Rhinosceros by Eugène Ionesco next season. As a taster, there will be a read-through in the theatre on the Sunday 17th November at 6.30pm, and I’d love to see as many there as possible. I’m very passionate about the project, having specialised in Ionesco at Uni and could wax lyrical – but for sake of brevity there’s an excellent, albeit lengthy piece on Wikipedia if you wish to know more.
